Summary
We'll dive into her journey, challenges, and triumphs, and explore practical tips on achieving that elusive work-life balance.
Interviewer: May you please tell us about yourself who is Anne? What does she do here at Moretop?
Anne: “Well, my name is Anne and I’m Moretop’s finance manager, I am responsible for most of the company's finance business e.g. guarding the company's finances, profits, expenses, client payment orders, etc. I have been doing this job for quite some years now, I actually gave birth to my 5-year-old daughter whilst I was working here.
Interviewer: In your profession, do you sometimes face any challenges and how do you deal with them?
Anne: Challenges are part of life, no one would ever say I don’t face challenges or I’m immune to challenges, but what matters most is that you will solve them perfectly. Whenever I face challenges, I’ll ask for help from people, hearing their advice, and their own personal experiences. More so, on work-related, I would search on the internet, read books, etc, these methods would help me solve many challenges that I’d be facing. Then afterward I’d see how best can I apply such methods to solve my current situation.
Interviewer: Do you have any memorable happy times that you shared with your co-workers?
Anne: Here at Moretop we believe in sharing, it can either be ideas, plans, food, snacks, etc. We have a culture of team spirit which is bounded by sharing. And during vacations we also have company trips or vacations where we get to relax, enjoy, and have fun as workmates. These are my most memorable happy times here at Moretop.
Interviewer: I noticed that you have two very beautiful daughters, if it is convenient with you, can you tell us something about your daughters, how old are they, and also what grade at school are your daughter in?
Anne: Yes I do have two beautiful daughters, the older one is 9 years old ( she is still in her junior school), then the second one is 5 years old, in kindergarten. They are very adorable beautiful kids.
Interviewer: What kind of advice would you give to a young mom who is also going to work like you, with two kids but she is having challenges balancing work and family time?
Anne: As a working mom, you should always bear in mind that everything depends on you. You should be able to balance both your life and work. Time management is the most important thing to consider in whatever you do. Always make sure you do your work accordingly, if you are facing challenges, ask for advice or share with others, a problem shared is a problem half solved. My principle is that I do my work first and then will converse later because my work is one of my priorities. Always know how to balance your home, health, and work, this would lead to a happy life.
