Get ready to learn from the best in the tool industry. An interview with Co- founder Mrs Nancy, on Moretop Tools company's journey"
Below is an exclusive interview with one of the founders of Moretop tools company, specialized in the cutting and drilling tools industries.
1. Why did you start or join this company?
As we all know, in life everyone is given a chance or an opportunity to do something. So it has always been my husband's dream to be involved in the tools industry. He always wanted to create a tool company and not just any tools but to specialize in small tools that can be used as DIY ( Do It Yourself) tools either in landscaping (gardening), house renovation, cupboards or ceiling installation, etc. One day we went to Capri Island ( Italy) on a holiday and we boarded a tourist cruise tour then we saw some people wearing Chinese hats, and most Europeans on that cruise commented with so much disgust saying Chinese products aren't of good quality and standard. So this comment left my husband puzzled and troubled because he knew China does have products of good quality and standard. So this was a lighting spark for him to come up with the idea of creating a tool company which would be providing products of higher standard and quality and he named the company Moretop (Going higher and higher and higher like a mountain). His main mission is to let everyone know that Chinese products are also of very high and good quality. It has now been 12 years specializing in the tool industry and by each year we are improving the standards and quality of our products. Striving to provide top-quality Chinese tool products globally.
2. Is there something that you wish to change about Moretop? If there is, what is it you want to change about Moretop?
Change is inevitable, in life, you should always be open to change, upgrade, and be adaptive. We are living in a world where change is happening constantly, so we can't say we are immune to change. Therefore, It is my dream and wish to make our company an international group of companies worldwide ( Corporate group).
3. What are you most proud of regarding the company?
My proudest achievement regarding our company Moretop is cultural diversity. We have managed to bring all different races and nationalities under one roof as one big happy family (Moretop family). We don't discriminate against people by where they come from or who they are, as long as we are all human beings, we should accommodate each other equally. This culture has helped us break down cultural differences, communication barriers, and boss-employee stereo-type relations, making everyone impartial/ unbiased and free to express themselves for the growth of the company.
4. What do you do when you are outside the office?
0n my free time, I attend to my wifely and motherly duties. As a working wife and mother, there are a few things that need your personal attention and I love and respect my husband ( Moretop Founder) and our family, so attending to their needs is my first priority and concern. Their physical and mental well-being makes me feel at ease and happy.
Also, I'm more of an ambivert ( both introvert and extrovert), I love to read and also have nice conversations with culturally diverse people, but my ideal relaxing day would be sitting at a quiet place, drinking my tea, reading whilst it's raining outside. I'd feel so at ease and happy. But as we all know, as a wife and mom you won't have many opportunities to do that more often because I also want to be my husband's shoulder to lean on and not a self-centered partner, so in the end we both tend to watch documentaries together with my husband as our free and relaxing moment.
Advice
Don't ever limit yourself to learning something new every day, it can either be academically, or in sports. No matter how learned your spouse is, aspire to be better and different following his/her footsteps. Always dream to go up, set a higher goal for oneself, and keep on learning.
